Dr. danica wilson


Danica Wilson is a dedicated and diligent family physician who has been serving the community of Chicago for over 10 years  Dr. Wilson is a graduate of Tennessee State University, in Nashville, TN.  She earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies; and completed her residency in family medicine at Saint Louis University in Belleville, IL.

She worked as a physician at Howard Brown Health Center, before joining Christian Community Health Center in 2014.  Starting in 2015 she provided care at a private practice in the Avondale neighborhood.  In January of 2017, she began a 6 year tenure as Medical Director of 2 clinics in Chicago for AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF).

After the passing of her  mother, Dr. Wilson decided to take the advice of her mother; after being reminded by a close friend of her mother’s advice , “….you write your own check!”

Hence, S.T.A.R.S HCC was born!!
